    Default Torchwood Schedule

The beeb seem determined to get the show out of the way as quick as possible, (why, when it was last series that was the embarassment?)

Possibly for the start of Who (again with the why? There's no law against the two shows overlapping?)

12th March - BBC2 "Something Borrowed" while BBC3 airs "From Out of the Rain"

Wed 19th March - BBC2 "From Out of the Rain" and BBC3 "Adrift"

    Fri 21st March - BBC2 "Adrift" and BBC3 "Fragments"

FRIDAY 28th March - BBC2 "Fragments" followed by "Exit Wounds"

So its on Wednesdays and Fridays now? How quick fire. Given that we caught up with 4 episodes last weekend, this series is going to seem really short to me and Si!

Well, S2 has been quite embarrasing for a lot of people too.

As you say, it's probably to get it out of the way for DW, but also I hope to make way for the far superior Heroes Season 2.

Not according to the scores it's been getting on our ratings thread... unless you just mean Chris Chibnall's episode being shown up by everybody else's efforts?

Haven't been reading that, or posting to it, I was referring to opinions I've been reading elsewhere.

I don't get why they're doing this - why go to all the bother of making the series and then rush it out in the blink of an eye? Friday's isn't the best day for it either as people tend to go out.

I just corrected a 'day' in the original post. So it's not actually switching to Fridays, it's just on both days next week, then finishes with a double bill the following Friday.

Does this mean Doctor Who is going to be shown earlier than planned?

Certainly they won't be able to schedule the program around crucial England Euro 2008 games now.

April 5th or 12th has been earmarked, although the actual date hasn't been released yet. With Torchwood out the way by the end of March, I'd say the 5th is more likely.

I spend way too much time on press websites.

    UPDATE -

The finale is not getting a premiere on BBC3 on the 28th March now.

It will be shown the following Friday, 4th April on BBC2.

The press centre also has the first episode synopsis released. In spoilers, in case you don't want to know.

Captain John Hart returns to have his revenge on Torchwood in the concluding episode of Doctor Who writer Russell Davies's award-winning drama.

Taking Captain Jack prisoner, he sends him back in time for a long overdue reunion. Without their leader, Torchwood are faced with a city flooded with Weevils, on the brink of destruction. But who is Captain John really working for? Can anyone trust him? And how great a price must Torchwood pay to save the city?

Can anybody answer me a couple of quick questions?
Which ep is the one that's on BBC3 this Fiday? (Good Friday) Is it 'Fragments'?
And how many eps are left after that, & what are they called?

    Actually, is that 4 questions?

    (Is that 5? etc... etc...)

    Doesn't matter, i've found out.
