Default Which are the stories in which only the ALIENS die?

A bit of a companion to the other thread on here. I was thinking about The Android Invasion and trying to work out if it was just androids that got killed. But the Kraals got wiped out too, so it's pretty much a victory for humanity. Then I remembered Guy Crayford got killed so it all went wrong.

But which are the Doctor Who stories where the humans make it to the final frame but there are aliens that are well and truly killed to death?
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

What about the End of the World? Apart from Cassandra, all the others to die are either tree-people or blue freaks. And although Cassandra is human, she survives to another day.

For similar reasons, in Utopia, isn't it limited to the hot blue beetle Asian chick, and a couple of futurekind?

Surely any story set on alien planet is going to count, or at least one in which there are no human visitors? So The Daleks and Planet of the Daleks count as its mainly Thals and Daleks that cop it, but Death to the Daleks doesn't as there are humans in it that die.

Maybe we should replace the word "aliens" with "baddies"

What about "Snakedance". The Mara is an alien and no-one else dies.

Hmm... but the Mara is born out of the minds of the Manussans (or whatever they're called) and they might well be human colonists (the fact that they have Punch And Mara shows would indicate that). Plus... is the Mara REALLY dead?

As definitively stated on screen, yes.

You have to go by what we're told, otherwise you could say well, maybe the Borad was just another clone, what if Chloe Ashcroft was wearing a bullet proof vest etc.

Timelash? Only Karfelons or androids actually die. True, there is only one human besides Peri in it, but on a technicality that counts, right?

How about Delta And The Bannermen? As far as I recall only the Navarinos and the Bannermen actually cop it. All the (definitely) humans are either safely evacuated from the camp or else survive to the closing moments. Were Ken Dodd and the guy who was ionised via mobile phone supposed to be human? It was never stated, was it?

Panet Of Fire. OK, not many humans, but the only deaths are natives of Sarn, aren't they?

The Sensorites. I'm pretty sure only one character actualy dies, and that's the poor old Second Elder during the struggle for the very obviously plastic disintegrator key.

Do any humans die in The Macra Terror?

Of course not, the Macra do not exist therefore they can't kill anyone.

In fact, as Rose says, you can barely call Cassandra human at all.

In which case, strictly speaking, only aliens die in 'New Earth' and 'Gridlock', also.

Well I wouldn't quibble with that, it's just I can't particularly remember the ending of Snakedance that much. I still stand by my claim the the Mara MIGHT class as being at least partly human though
