Easy choice here, apart from Talons this is a pretty poor lot. The Image of the Fendahl is especially poor.

Talons wins for me. Mawdryn is bloody awful, a smiling Doctor in this context is a poor choice. Image is cartoon-y as is Enemy & Daemons is bland but 2nd best here.

That middle three are presumably what you find when you scrape the bottom of the barrel. I agree with Tim, Daemons is the second best, and Talons is a clear winner.

To be fair, I suppose the Mawdryn one is marginally more exciting than the cover that was actually used (at least this one includes the Brigadier!). The Enemy of the World is a pretty flat and lifeless piece of art, and is also an odd choice in that it includes nothing at all recognisable from the show, not even the TARDIS in the background.

Talons is great. The rest are average to poor.

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

I think you're supposed to be commenting on just the book covers, Si, not the whole of Doctor Who in general

I rather like the Brig's very feeble attempt at giving Doctor Who the birthday bumps on that Mawdryn cover...

Another vote for 'Talons' from me - the others are indde pretty poor, although I havre to say 'The Daemons' is a very good video cover.

None of the others come close to Talons!
One Day, I shall come back, Yes, I shall come back,
Until them, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties, Just go forward in all your beliefs,
and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine!

Thank goodness during my absence my vote for Talons wasn't needed - one of the greatest Who stories with one of the greatest Target covers too.

Did Ralph vote for The Daemons?!
