Things I learned from Doctor Who ...
I thought this would be a bit of fun. A while ago there was a book called "All I Really Need to Know I Learned from Watching Star Trek".
So what valuable life lessons have you learnt from Doctor Who?

There was a great series in DWM written by Gareth Roberts called "Everything I ever needed to know about life I learned from..." which always made me laugh.

I learned that it's better to protect yourself with nail varnish or liquid plastic when fighting the Cybermen, rather than for example a whacking big gun.

I learned that tachyons were theoretical particles that could travel faster than the speed of light.
I remember being so interested that I asked my physics teacher about them the next day.Bazinga !

I learned that it's impossible to have a planet orbiting a black hole, and that a solar flare at night turns into some kind of supercharged genetic space lightning.

If I didn't watch Doctor Who I wouldn't have known that Magna Carta was incredibly important to the whole of English history.
