Default Eye Candy Advent Calendar 2006

Here it comes again, filling my soul, never want to let go...as a wise old owl once shrilled.

Christmas is coming and Claire Goose is getting fat.

Everyday from now until Christmas Eve, a festive morsel will be posted to this thread. Beware the Ogri!

We shall start as we mean to go on...are you ready to ride with me London? I said ARE YOU READY?!

I'd like to ride with this legendary singer, songwriter and actress...

Yes it is none other than LaToya Yvonne Jackson, singer of such hits as "You Blew" and "Opps, Oh No", sister to Michael and Janet and Battle Queen of the Svrax.

LaT is or was a jehovas witness so why she's posing so merrily with a christmas tree who can say and frankly who cares. I wonder where she is and I hope she's happy.

Oh and her album still didn't come out this year, despite being scheduled in 2003...it did leak over the net though.

I wonder who or what will be behind window number 2 tommorrow?

You should pay more attention to "Battlefield" Pip.

She has a tiny waist, but huge hair. Such is the way of the aged pop icon.

    The Second Time...

Here's a seasonal snap of a legendary 90s Scandinavian pop act...

Yes it's the group once known as Joyspeed but we all know and love them as Aqua. Singers of such classics as "Lollypop (Candyman)" and "Bumble Bees" and one of the greatest number ones that never was "We Belong To The Sea". They really missed a trick not doing a christmas song but that's the way of these things. Dullards like N*Sync and Jessica Simpson do whole Christmas albums but the Europeans rarely bother with such flimflam.

Grab a tissue for tommorrow's masculine double entry...

Something for the girls...and the boys...

It's the Thal like X-Factor losers Journey South. They've had so many hits this year. Who wouldn't want to find them stuffing their turkey this yuletide?

One Day, I shall come back, Yes, I shall come back,
Until them, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties, Just go forward in all your beliefs,
and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine!

There must be an angel playing with my heart...

Emma Lee Bunton. She descended down from the heavens to bring joy and magic into our lives.

10 years ago she straddled the singles and album charts with "2 Become 1" and "Spice". Her new album "Life in Mono" is out now and likely headed for number 67 or somesuch.. Buy it for yourself and everyone you've ever met.

As should you and Mr RaynOr, then. It's S'Rax, not Svrax.
    I am out there... somewhere.

    Cheers for that Andie.

Moving on and today we have proof that christmas isn't all about glitter and sparkle and presents with this touching scene from a wax work recreation of the Nativity...

As a wise old owl once said, I'm not religious but it makes me wanna pray.

I’m being extremely clever up here and there’s no one to stand around looking impressed! What’s the point in having you all?

Concluding the girl band trilogy, the ultimate girl band...

For three yuletides did they top the charts with a clutch of classic ballads and it's ten years this year since their first xmas number one. It all seems like yesterday not fat away...

It's the author of one of the finest Christmas albums of all time! Pasty-faced and possibly pre-mid decade botox makeover.

Are you hanging up your stocking on the wall?

I'd like to see inside her stocking and that's no lie.

In the old days we were so poor I had to make dresses out of mama's old tablecloths and my wigs out of straw from the barn.
