No, we're safe- there's no big rivers near us, thank goodness.

Who do you think you are?

Sometimes I think I am actually Doctor Who. The theory is, at the moment of my birth, the Matrix foresaw the many times I would save the universe, and so the high council decreed I should be sent to earth in a parallel universe for my own safety, until I come of age. Sometimes, I can even feel my heartbeat on the right side of my chest.

Am I just clutching at straws?

Very probably. May be you're the Valeyard or the Master or the Rani!

Not bad - I've got a day off, I've got stuff done and I'm off to the cinema tonight.

Of the book, the album, and the various radio and film adaptations, which is your favourite version of 'The War Of The Worlds'?

An Ebay seller I've since bought 6 albums off. They are naughtily copied from vinyl and sneaked onto CD but I'm sure since the originals haven't been on sale for 30 years I'll be forgiven in the great hereafter.

How much have you made from Ebay in one "selling session" before? £34 for us this time, after fees and ting have come off.

£45 back in the early days of the 21st Century, when I sold (to my shame) my pristine copy of The Dying Days. Honourable mention to the videos of The Web Planet which went for nearly £20 (so slightly more than I'd paid for them in the first place).

When you've sold a lot of stuff on eBay do you feel glad to be rid of old tat, or do you ever feel slightly dirty at selling off part of your life?

No - the tat must go! Anyone who's moved house and had to shift 400 VHS videos would agree with me.

Would you buy new (second hand) clothes on EBay?
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

    Could I be a villain?

Oh I'm sure you could play one of those Villains that is nice but kills you with his smile & a song. I think most nice people would like to play a villain....or the Doctor.

Ideas are easy, so is the actual writing of the dialogue. For me, I'd say the plotting is toughest. I have real difficulty putting together the plot in logical leaps- but i get there in the end.

Which of the new PS Doctor Who audios are you most looking forward to hearing: Heart of the Haniad, Heist! or The Paradise Machine?

I'm quite looking forward to all of them but I've heard most about Heist!, so it's probably that one.

Do the technical guys really like putting the plays together or do they get frustrated/bored with it all?

I can only answer for myself really, but I found much of it pretty tedious and time consuming to get right. Especially chopping up and treating individual lines. Once it's done it's great, but sometimes it is really difficult to do, especially if you have a good idea of how you want it to sound and you can't quite get that across. Hopefully it all comes ok in the end though.

What would you like us to attempt next, storywise?

Or maybe the Doctor is stuck inside a computer and discovers the Planet Skaro forum and all the members help him to escape!

Or is that a bit too self-indulgent?

Presumably for the same reason that Claudia Winkleman keeps getting employed...

Yes - I sat through every episode of the infamous Laura and Disorder and genuinely enjoyed them. Ditto A Year in Provence, which I absolutely adored of a Sunday evening.

Ye gods, that's like asking whether I'd prefer to be stung to death or have rocks chucked at me in a pit. I'll go for The Young Ones.

I really liked Ever Decreasing Circles. It had the marvellous Penelope Wilton in it after all.

Have you downloaded pt 1 of Heart of the Haniad yet?
