Cola bottles win if they're the nice ones with the fizzy sour stuff on the outside, otherwise it's jelly babies.
Have you ever dreamed of turning a hobby into a job? If so, what?
-

It'd probably be something to do with Doctor Who, but goodness knows how I'd turn that into a job.
Do you think rabbits are cute?

Yes.
Do you think there are any animals that are cute, if so, what are they?
-

Most animals are cute! But especially my Lhasa Apso puppy.
Have you ever bought a gift and wished you could have it for yourself?
-
22nd May 2008, 5:53 PM #55
That's why I only ever buy people things I can copy or read first. No not really. Well a bit. Though I do have a habit of eating chocolates and having to buy replacements if I get them too early.
Have you ever come very close to buying a gift for someone and then been very relieved you didn't*?
*I chose six wrestling figures for my nephew last year from the seven they had in Toys R Us and the one wrestler I didn't buy was found dead a few days later having murdered his family. That could've been awkward.Dennis, Francois, Melba and Smasher are competing to see who can wine and dine Lola Whitecastle and win the contract to write her memoirs. Can Dennis learn how to be charming? Can Francois concentrate on anything else when food is on the table? Will Smasher keep his temper under control?
If only the 28th century didn't keep popping up to get in Dennis's way...

Yes! I nearly bought something for someone when I was on holiday last summer, but, following what happened (or rather didn't happen!) when I returned, I was very glad I didn't!
Would you go naked in public?
-

Only if I was given a lot of money. I'm mercenary if nothing else!

-

not to bad thank you.
what's the most annoying thing to happen to you this lask week ?
-
24th May 2008, 12:51 PM #59
I seem to grumble a lot nowadays, but nevertheless I can't think of anything really annoying that's happened this week. I did get a little bit arsy at work when some metal appeared to have gone missing, and I certainly shouted at one of the dogs last night when he tried to bite me. Oh, I don't know, maybe I should be controversial and say the most annoying thing this week has been the suggestion in some places that Moffat isn't just taking over from RTD, but that in fact he's been brought in as some kind of saviour after the mess RTD has made of it.
Na, sod controversy, it was the dog trying to bite me. I wouldn't have minded so much, but when I told him not to bite the hand that feeds he just looked blankly at me.
Neil Diamond or Barry Manilow?
-

Based on Jon Ross last night, Neil Diamond.
Are you enjoying any sunshine today?
-
24th May 2008, 1:13 PM #61
Glad to see you saw JR too last night, Tim - wasn't Neil Diamond awesome. I'm still not sure Rossy knew he was going to do that second number, and take it out into the audience. What a showman and what (in as far as you can base your opinion on a TV interview) a nice, ordinary, sensible guy. Mind you, I think he's very brave to not even get a drawing or some advance warning of his new costumes!!!
Anyway, back to the question - well, it's sunny here today (in complete defiance of the forecast for a wet day) but I'm not sure I'm enjoying it. When it's hot & glary it tends to make me irritable (well, even more irritable than usual). Although there is a breeze at the moment which takes the edge off. So the answer would be, erm... yes. Ish.

The Royle Family get on my nerves, not the actors but the characters. So by default, the Royal Family.

We had a lovely day yesterday. We went to Bath for the day, so I could wallow in a bit of nostalgia (as my grandparents lived there for a few years when i was young and my family lived with them for a few months in 1981) and while we were there we were invited for a barbeque at a friend's place in Bristol, which is of course just down the raod from Bath. Marvellous! We had a wonderful cup of tea beside the canal too, which made it all worthwhile!
What are your plans for Sunday?
