    Default Carry On Laughing!

I mentioned doing a Carry On Time Team on Ralph's comedy films thread:

Not neccesarily talking about big reviews, but just watching say one film per week, sharing favourite bits, & a few laughs.
I've now got them all, (except 'Columbus') & have never watched them all in order. In fact, i'm sure there's a few of the earlier ones that i've never seen at all. I know Jonno's got them all, but has anyone else?
Ralph, Logo, Pip, & Jonno all expressed an interest in joining in, so i'm starting sometime this coming week. Naturally, anyone else is more than welcome to chip in.
I still haven't got 'Columbus', but i'll be including 'What a Carve Up!' even though it's not officially a Carry On, a few of the many Carry On cast are in it, including the mighty Sid. So that's good enough for me!

The list of films are as follows, & i'll be doing approx one per week, as mentioned.

    Carry On Sergeant 1958
    Carry On Nurse 1959
    Carry On Teacher 1959
    Carry On Constable 1959
    Carry On Regardless 1961
    What a Carve Up! 1961
    Carry On Cruising 1962
    Carry On Cabby 1963
    Carry On Jack 1963
    Carry On Spying 1964
    Carry On Cleo 1964
    Carry On Cowboy 1965
    Carry On Screaming! 1966
Carry On Don't Lose your Head 1966
Carry On Follow that Camel 1967
    Carry On Doctor 1967
Carry On up the Khyber 1968
    Carry On Camping 1969
    Carry On Again Doctor 1969
Carry On up the Jungle 1970
    Carry On Loving 1970
    Carry On Henry 1971
Carry On at your Convenience 1971
    Carry On Matron 1972
    Carry On Abroad 1972
    Carry On Girls 1973
    Carry On Dick 1974
    Carry On Behind 1975
    Carry On England 1976
    Carry On Emmannuelle 1978

    Yay!

Some of them i don't think i've ever seen. Especially the earlier ones, so it will be interesting to see how they developed over time.

I think we should include That's Carry On, I love those links with Kenny & Babs We could do it as the final film, a nice way to round the journey off

I've got most of the Carry On Films, and can get hold of the ones I haven't, so I'm up for this.

I won't rewatch Carry on Sergeant though as I only watched it a few months back.

Yay - I've got them all on video and now on DVD too courtesy of the big box set collection I treated myself to last year. I won't be able to keep up with the one a week pace - I'm averaging around one a month at the moment since starting my DVDs last year! Most recently watched is one of my all time faves - Cabby, but I've stalled a bit ahead of Jack.

Incidentally, if you stick to one a week, this should take you roughly up to Christmas!

Are you going to be rewatching Carve Up, Wayne, following your first viewing of it six months ago?

Yes, i'll be watching all of them again. I know 'Carve Up' was quite recent, but having only seen it that once, i'm not exactly what you'd call familiar with it, so i'm happy to watch that again anyway.

I don't have them all, but I'll join in when I can.
I’m being extremely clever up here and there’s no one to stand around looking impressed! What’s the point in having you all?

The more the merrier! Even if it's not all the way through.

It's too late edit my original post, but i forgot to include the 4 'Carry On Christmas' specials on the list.

It'll be interesting to see which ones give the real belly laughs...will I change my mind over "Screaming"? I have my doubts but it'll be good to see

If it's taking us up to Christmas, we might as well do those specials at the very end?

I've got quite a few of these so I'll join in where I can as well. Even those I don't have, I've probably seen at some point so I'll probably be able to comment on most of them, at least.

I'm glad you're including 'Carve Up' as well, I watched this again recently and think it's great!

Right, i'm kicking off with 'Carry On Sergeant' tomorrow night.
Meanwhile, i went to the Post Office yesterday, so those of you expecting something should have it by the end of the week.
