Star Trek - I never really got into its post-TNG incarnations, but then i never got into Star Wars at all; never saw what all the fuss was about.

Trek for me. Better characters, better stories and far,far better dialogue!

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

I prefer fantasy over science fiction. To me, Star Trek is Sci Fi and light on the fantasy, while Star Wars is almost purely fantasy, but dressed up to look like sci-fi. So while I know Trek is technically the higher quality product, I'm afraid it just can't beat lightsaber duels and force powers when it comes to my entertainment.

Star Trek... I didn't really enjoy the original series or Enterprise, but the others I can stick for an hour. I've never quite made it through an hour of Star Wars, but it is on my list of things to do before I die.

Star Wars was amazing, it opened my eyes to Sci-Fi as a kid.

Star Trek too was amazing in a different way - less spectacle, but more a thinking show.

Both of them have had bloody awful sequels/prequels. I'll raise you a Phantom Menace vs your Enterprise ...

You see the heart says Star Wars, the mind says Star Trek ... I'm going with my heart and saying Star Wars.

I've watched and liked 'Star Trek' in my time, but 'Star Wars' has always been and always will be a big part of my life - I even loved 'The Phantom Menace' and will defend it against anyone!
