    That's a shame. I always thought he & Brian Blessed should have got together for some loud Doctor Who reminiscing.

    MR. FIBULI!!!!

    How sad. He may have only made one contribution to Who, but it was a hugely memorable one, and it seems from the reports that he had many strings to his bow, other than acting. Let's ensure that he will forever be commemorated in our 'Today I Bruced' threads.

    It seems strange to be paying tribute to somebody based on four episodes of something they made over thirty years ago, but then again the Pirate Captain is the kind of role which needs a special performance to get all the different elements out and there are very few actors who could have done it justice.
