Lots of location on video at the moment - David & Barbara are visiting garden centres and Mr Paul & Ms Pollard traipsing over fields trying to find a house.

Cracking episode today as boardroom betrayal abounds.... and Jill Darling loses it as David, Barbara and Miranda sell out to Major International Hotels by three votes to one. Adam is standing by his wife of course, but is secretly thrilled by the buy-out. What would Meg think???

Jane Rossington was excellent in that episode. It's oddly moving.

I thought so too! I'm starting to see a really sneaky side to Adam now .... and I don't like it!! Also I think David Hunter will be leaving very soon. I'm going to miss him!

Blimey, Stan Harvey (Jill's ex) has turned up now!!

His role was supposed to have been the return of Meg, but sadly Noele passed away before she could return. So sad.

There's only one topic of conversation at the motel today - the arrival of the new General Manager tomorrow .... a certain Nicola Freeman. Can't wait!

David & Barbara Hunter have gone. *sniff* Bon voyage to you both!

Obviously Meg's departure is the stuff of legend, but... I must admit I don't remember how the Hunters were written out. Surely they didn't just fade away?

Well they sort of did really. They accepted Major International Hotel's buy-out offer, sold their shares pronto and decided to travel the world for a while. But they left in a taxi rather than the QE2. Meg did it so much better!
