Have they found the footage? Surely Biggers wouldn't keep something like that from us... oh.
It's probably as packed as you'd expect really. I'm looking forward to seeing it look all restored and extra groovy! I dig the fab extras, etc

It's the stuff at the end of the video I'd imagine with the outtake.

I'm quite looking forward to this. I was going to watch it again soon. But once again I'll wait for the DVD otherwise I won't watch the DVD if I've seen the story too recently.

Very possibly. He'll only say after it's out no doubt, or after the R.T are cleared to talk about it.

Well it's fairly interesting - one minute's worth of recovered footage from a 60s story is worth a

Be interesting to know where he got it from. Maybe there was other stuff with it?
Or perhaps they've CGI'd the missing minute or something. He only says the length is the same as originally.

Perhaps they're just going to fade the screen to black and have the audio!

He's said on Roobarbs it wasn't.
And where did the hyping up came from? He made the original comment about finding something as an aside on another forum (IIRC someone else was talking about new footage never turning up, and he said how he had located something interesting recently), which some OG spod picked up and announced to the world, blowing it out of proportion!Your people? Your people??? They are MY people now!

Do you we know which story this surprise is from? I'll be dissapointed if it isn't a complete episode of "Marco Polo". In fact I'll be dissapointed if it isn't Episode 1.

Unfortunately I have just as little idea as anyone else, however I would be tempted to say it's some 8mm location footage; possibly that of The War Games

That'd be my guess too.

Perhaps we're getting the scene cut from original transmission by the censors, where Ben and Dodo get jiggerty in the alley at the back of the Inferno

Is the Tony Benn item culled from another programme, do we know, or has he filmed it especially?
I also feel the need to single out the phrase "get jiggerty" from Jon's post, as I've not heard that particular expression before. Like General Melchett, I shall now want to use that in conversation wherever possible!
