Sam and Max. They've been away for so long. But January 5th next year promises their return!

Old school, point-and-click adventure games have been completely waylaid over the past five years, but i'd be delighted if this prompted their return.

Yay! I used to love the old Lucasarts adventures like Sam and Max and the Monkey Island series!!

Do you know if this is by Lucasarts btw? Because I picked up an issue of Edge a while back and they said they'd moved on, and wouldn't be doing any more, and I was just wondering if they were evil liar type liars?!

Hmm - I wonder if there's a DVD release of the cartoon due.

I'll have a bit more of a look into this tonight. Apparently there's an 'Episode 1' already available, but I'm not sure where or how. I do know that this won't be a Lucasarts release though, the rights are now held by someone else.
