Fleet Foxes
Has anyone on PS heard of Fleet Foxes, a five-piece Seattle based band who describe their music as "baroque harmonic pop jams." And list amongst their influences, The Beach Boys, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Joni Mitchell, Simon and Garfunkel and Steeleye Span. Their lush harmonies and acoustics make for delicious listening on a lazy Sunday afternoon. They've played some major concerts in the Seattle area and are now gathering attention here, and if the single, White Winter Hymnal, which is causing quite a stir, breaks the top 40 when it's released on July 21st I think they'll be big.

I just listened to White Winter Hymnal on your recommendation and it's really lovely stuff. I'd not heard of the band, but I'll definitely have to check out more of there material now.

Nice one Alex. The album is a really beautiful piece of work. They also have a five track EP called Sun Giant which is worth checking out too, I was pleasantly surprised when I heard that over the weekend.
