The Chase coming to DVD
http://www.ryeandbattleobserver.co.u...ber.4114613.jp
Richard Bignall explained: "I work on the team that put together the DVDs of the classic series Doctor Who for the BBC.
"One of the future releases that we're currently working on is the 1965 six-part story The Chase starring William Hartnell, which marked the third appearance of the Daleks in the series.

We're certainly due another Dalek DVD, although might this mean that we'll have to go yet another whole year without the obvious release of "Day of the Daleks".
Still, at least "The Invisible Enemy" is out!

That's what I thought. I've not seen this since it came out on video, so it'll be nice to see it again after all these (however many, Jonno'll know) years.

I can't beat 18 minutes for a reply!
I really like The Chase and any b&w release is extra welcome for me due to the restoration.

Something for the girls... And boys.
Again, as with Masque, the fact that they're looking at extras material doesn't indicate it's coming out imminently. There are quite a few stories with completed Making Of's which aren't scheduled at the moment!

EPIC SQUEE!
I hope this does mean it's soonish... it's long overdue. It is the greatest story of all time. Not just Doctor Who, either, I mean in all of human history.

At least someone's pleased!
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!
