I loved that tune when I used to watch it. I haven't seen that in over a decade!

This is the first time I've really struggled to decide whether to post a link to a you tube video.

Basically it's Kermit the Frog singing Nine Inch Nails' Hurt (though more in the style of the Johnny Cash cover). The video's really well produced, and it seems a fair bit of money must have been spent on it, or a lot of time, anyway.

The thing is that it's just really horrible. It's really funny in a dark twisted way too, and, well, I quite like it. But don't at the same time.

    Here's the link anyway: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLQRv0RjBBM

I thought should warn folks first though, it could lead to the destruction of childhood memories. Oh, and it's a bit Not Safe For Work, because of some of the lyrics and a couple of moments in the video.

I know. But it's still really sad in places, the shot where it moves over to Jim Henson's photograph is especially so.

I think all of it's very wrong. But at the same time part of me finds it darkly funny, yet oddly poignant in places at the same time. I think it's the video part of it, I've just been over to his myspace page - http://www.myspace.com/sadkermit - and whilst good, his cover of Creep doesn't have the same effect.

    This video is hilarious:

    Bye Bye Tom!

Puts Matt West's "comedy" to shame.

And this one is even better:

This is the most entertaining, fun and exciting video ever to feature a baby hamster.

Has Derren Brown gone too far?

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=HRIV3hPt4AU

This is leaked footage apparently, and no one's quite sure if it's going to be used in this current series, but it looks to me like he's crossed a line here, the guy in the taxi seems genuinely quite terrified.

That Derren Brown clip is weird. I'm guessing its because its out of context but I couldn't really see what it was trying to show. Did Derren pop into the cab because the guy was so terrifiied?

I got the feeling that might've been the case, I don't know what the actual thing was about, but it did seem to have no actual point other than to scare the crap out of the poor guy. This latest series really has been a bit of a disappointment, it seems quite cruel at times, I hope it's not the direction he heads down any further after this series. (He was in Redhill this week doing 4 preview shows btw Paul, though fortunately for his sake my Sister doesn't know about this yet )

This is just fantastic, if really odd at the same time. It's an old film from the late twenties, starring dogs. I know I haven't made it sound that exciting, but it really does have to be seen to be believed. Put it this way, without cgi I'm sure they wouldn't be allowed to film it today, anyway.

    Edit:

Scary music video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YITlc...r%2Dflowers%2F - I accidentally opened it up in two windows, and it sounds so much better with both going at the same time, but the second with a three second delay on it.

Brilliant, especially all the cat stuff. What is it about cats that makes them so funny!?

And am I wrong to find that Derren Brown clip funny...? Yes, it must have been terrifying for the guy (I would probably be crapping myself too if I were in that situation) but there's just something about the weirdness of it... oh, and the way he just casually says "Oh, it's Derren Brown" at the end.
