That really was fantastic, my eyes have been watering cause of laughing so much - if that doesn't get released on an official BBC DVD, it's a real tragedy, the funniest thing on YouTube.

Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere on the site (or is one of the dvd featurettes or something), I had a quick look around and I haven't seen it so far, so hopefully it hasn't.

It's a small making of the Doctor Who theme music in the 80's featurette, and I found it really interesting.

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=zDxFqw36KQ0

Edit: And here's the Going For Gold theme music - http://youtube.com/watch?v=IHv2GcXVb4Q

Edit: And because I'm in a theme tune mood tonight - here's the fantastic one from Buck Rogers - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1obwM...elated&search=

And I also found this which I can't remember seeing before - a much longer version of the tune - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77H5n...elated&search=

A Shooting Stars outtake where they're going on about Doctor Who. Warning, it does feature VERY strong language at one point.

"I love Doctor Who, it gives me a rock on."

The man who voiced Donald Cox is Rhys Thomas, better known from Swiss Toni (Paul), Blunder and Fun At The Funeral Parlour, and he's actually a Doctor Who fan for real. Hence his knowledge of Mawdryn Undead.

What, Donald Cox, the Sweaty Fox? I always assumed that it was Vic Reeves doing the voice..? Obviously not, judging by that clip.

That's a great clip, although I didn't catch what Donald said first time around! I'd love to see the clip from 'Shooting Stars' again with the first four Doctors performing 'My Generation' by The Who - it's brilliant, and had me in stitches the first time I saw it!

Edited to add: and here it is!

See if you can identify the 'Lovely Machine' in this video - a promo to a song by 'To My Boy'.

Shooting Stars vs. of Carry on Camping.

    And The Incredible Hulk.

I'd forgotten just how great Vic and Bob could be till I started watching these clips...

I'm sure everyone's seen these before, but I hadn't so thought I'd post the link:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfMh_5hy-48&NR=1

They're Tom Baker outtakes, mostly from around the Key to Time era. And one contains very strong language.* The k9 singing one's a particular highlight!

*Not as strong as last time, but close, anyhow.

There are some crap He-Man parodies on Youtube, but that one was hilarious, especially the moral edited together at the end.

"This is He-Man, wishing you good health. And good drugs."

I've just found something which I find personally fascinating - it's the original ending to one of my favourite ever films, Little Shop of Horrors:

    http://www.poetv.com/video.php?vid=2945

It ties in with the ending to the original Corman film, as well as the musical, and has fantastic scenes of the plants trying to take over the world. Apparently it cost millions to shoot (which despite the grainy footage you can tell) but it scored so badly with test audiences that the studio forced Frank Oz to film a happy ending instead.

I hope one day they do another dvd release, because I'd love to see this in full colour and in good quality too...
