He gets a deep voice in this one too.

You seen the trailer for The Skeletor Show? Had me rolling with laughter.

I think this is the funniest He-Man parody of them all. Absolutely classic.

The music on that is an excerpt from a tune called 'Daphne', by Django Reinhardt & Stephane Grappelli from 1938. :wayne

Just out of interest, have you seen Sweet and Lowdown Wayne? And if so, did you like it? It's a film I really love, but I've no idea how accurate a portrayal of Django it is...

Yes, i've got an off air video recording of it somewhere. It's quite funny isn't it?
Although some of the character traits are similiar to some of Dajango's, & some bits that are based tales of Django, there are some things that are entirely different.
For instance, Django's vanity: The bit where he descends from the rafter on a huge half moon is based on an idea that Django had. But in actual fact it was a huge star that was made, But as soon he got up in the gods & realized how high it was, he chickened out & never went through with it.
But i think the film was spiced up a lot to make it more interesting, but unlike Emmett Ray, Django wasn't really a ladies man or a drinker. He was married twice & had 2 sons, & his only real vice was gambling. He would gamble away huge sums at card games & billiards by giving people ridiculous handicaps, because his ego thought he was a better player than he actually was.
He earned vast amounts for the time, but had know real interest in either the value of money, or being 'rich'. He was both very generous & very frivolous with his money. My favourite story is the one about when decided he wanted have an american Cadillac car, which he spent a fortune on, only to just abandon it by the roadside when it ran out of petrol & never bothered going back for it!
Anyway, I seem to've gone off on one....... You'll know better than to get me talking about Django Reinhardt in future!

Matt Berry: One Track Lover (Live)

Matt and his band play the classic Darkplace song live - and work a bit of In The Air Tonight and Layla in I wish I'd gone to see him at the Academy now, I would loved that

(sound gets better after 30 secs or so)

For those unfamiliar with the song, here's the original - comedy gold!

Eek! Scary 70's public information film! But which is sort of unintentionally funny at the end!

I don't know if this a well known story or not, but I only just read about it tonight, and I think it's amazing, if really bizarre. The long and the short of it is that during a broadcast of the Horror of Fang Rock in the US back in 1987, a man in a Max Headroom mask intercepted the broadcast for a couple of minutes - it has to be seen to be believed really.

    Here's the youtube video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tWdgAMYjYSs

And here's the wiki article on it - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Max_Hea...ating_incident

I'm sure I've seen that before somewhere - very, very strange!

If you could never take James Blunt very seriously before, then take a look at this:

    Buffalo!

OK this video is a bit long (8 minutes) but for once, it really is worth watching all the way through - loads of surprises!

I loved that Triangle song too. Paticularly when Telly says "Hey, that sounds a bit like..."
