I think the best general advice to avoid spoilers is not to read anything in papers/magazines/internet releated to Who - especially since yesterday following the press screening of part one on Thursday night.

At least part 2 is not being shown to the press so I'm sure there'll be plenty of surprises that can be enjoyed the way they're supposed to be - watching it on TV!

I'm more excited about Doctor Who than I am about Christmas!

But surely Dr Who has embedded itself as part of the Christmas tradition in recent years. I'm going to miss this.
Remember, just because Davros is dead doesn't mean the Dalek menace has been contained ......

that's easier said then done I can remember on the morning of Parting of the Ways, I was looking through The Sun, and half way through the paper they had a bloody big photo of the Dalek Emporer which totally spoilt things.

Then there was the Human Dalek on the front cover of the Radio Times. Unless you walked into Smiths with your eyes closed, how could you have avoided that?
I’m being extremely clever up here and there’s no one to stand around looking impressed! What’s the point in having you all?

That's what happens when you read The Sun

that was unforgivable and RTD has said he was very unhappy about that.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he did, Pip, as part of the publicity process - with hindsight though, it would have been much better on the cover one week later!

Reading a tabloid on the day of broadcast is clearly dangerous for your health too!

Every time I walk into Forbidden Planet I see that lifesize head replica and frankly it gives me nightmares. If you ask me, they should censor his face- will no one think of the children???

it dose seem they delight in spoiling things and there's no warning one moment your reading the latest football news turn over the page and your looking straight at a picture of the Doctor regenerating.

I was just listening to Who On Who with Tennant and RTD on Radio 2, and RTD came out with an interesting comment about Tennant's finale, ie that it was great to bring back the Time Lords and make them evil.

Of course this may be common knowledge and I may have just missed the relevant comments (in which case I'll just go bury my head in the sand for a while once again!); certainly it's something I suspected they may do but hadn't heard any confirmation of until today.

It was mentioned in the Confidential after Part 1, but that was the first I'd heard of it.
