He's done it again! Chris' letter arrived, ooh about five minutes before I was about to leave for the post office. So your CD went off today, along with Alex's and Si and Steve's (I assume you got the first two CD's at the recording Si, and just needed the last one, is that correct?). Apologies for making Alex wait a week, I had to go into work this week so haven't been able to get down the Poff until today.

No need to apologise at all Si, I just really appreciate all the effort you go to, not only for making the cd's but organising everything from the beginning as well. I played The Paradise Machine to my Mum today and she was genuinely impressed, despite having got bored of the tv series, and now she wants to hear the ones I'm not in as well!

Just a note now everything to date has been dispatched to say thanks to everyone who contributed to our charity collection throughout distribution of this years audio plays!
There are two more exciting stories coming up in the next six weeks to finish our season (and what a finish it will be!), so I've decided to leave the sum collected so far where it currently resides (spread accross my Paypal account and TARDIS money box!) so that hopefully we can top it up by distributing a few CD's of the final two stories - which will also available free on-line of course! We'll then announce the total for the year, and I will be posting proof of the donation to our charity.
That will be the last of the charity 'tin-shaking' for the year, but not the last audio to be released in 2008. However, the year's remaining output (which comprises a few special surprises to be unveiled nearer Christmas) will be supplied free on CD to anyone who donated throughout the year as a bit of a 'thank you'.
Stay tuned!
Si.

Abort the plan! Abort the plan!
We're now intending to support a different charity for the remaining releases of our season (of which more soon), which means that the money gathered for Barnado's can now be sent off to where it's needed.
The three releases "Heart of the Haniad", "Heist!" and "The Paradise Machine" raised a total of £205 for the charity, which provides counselling, fostering and adoption, vocational training and disability help for kids who have are abused or have another kind of horrendous start in life. I hope you are all happy with this total - I think that bearing in mind it was raised all in one go, and that times are quite tough, it's something to be pleased with. Every penny that you donated went towards the charitable cause, production costs in the end being shouldered by cannily shopping around over time (and a little help from the printer at work).
Here's the receipt of payment.
Thanks to everyone who supported us by donating or simply saying nice things about the plays. Well done all of you!
Si.

Thats cool Si. Thats not a bad result really given that the stories themselves were available on the site for free.
