A really awful bunch to reintroduce the competition after such a long gap. Dominators gets my vote, but none really deserve to geth through. Genesis is probably the next best, and I use the term 'best' very loosely.

It pains me not to vote for Talons, but although the likenesses are great, the colour composition seems pretty poor to me. Anyway, there's an easy winner for me here and that's Genesis - a nice uncluttered layout with three iconic images, and a real favourite of mine from way back when.

Good to see the competition resume, Paul!

I've gone for Dominators. I'd like to vote for Genesis but that fuzzy Tom is just awful. The other 3 are dull but good likenesses.

Is that guy on The Savages saying, "It's...." I wonder?

Planet of the Spiders - not easy to make such an exciting story look so dull, but there you go! Talons - what a mess, it looks like a madman let loose on paintshop. Genesis & Dominators are both good IMHO, and both have a certain nostalgia - I'm not keen on the yellow for Genesis though, so I'm going for the Dominators, for its David Hunter and its somewhat misleading Giant Quark!!

Not a great bunch, but Genesis for me.

We play the game again... PS!

Not a great bunch, and, although the reprint covers are well painted, they're pretty dull and uninspiring. I have some affection for the Dominators cover, but I'm going for the more memorable (if still rather unexciting) Genesis cover.

I agree, though I'd use the term "least worst" rather than best.

I went for The Savages. Not sure why. What the hell, why not.
