Well I've listened to it now & I love it. This feels like a traditional Doctor Who. It is as good as the previous two stories & I can give it no higher praise.
There's a very Leisure Hive feel about it that I can't quite define.
Excellent work all round by everyone involved, no weak links!

I think it's great that the PS audios are developing so well that we can start having favourite characters/stories etc....
It won't be too long now before i'm posting my Top 10 favourite stories at the rate you're going. 'The Heist' is my favourite to date, but i haven't heard all of this one yet.
I think it's all smashing stuff anyway.

For me, Rob's a bit like Mel in that the character is quite annoying but endearingly so, and the respective actors who play them both do it so well that you can't help liking them.

In fifteen years Steve will come back with a new calm, mature and oh-so-hunky version of Rob for a spin-off in a different medium, and everyone will love him.

He could end up being a Hugh Grant type character, appearing in films like Eeeeaaasy Love, Actually...

Like some weird spoof hybrid of Adric & Jo Grant.
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

I just thought I would add a little more about what I think of Episode 1. If I wanted to put it in one word brilliant.
To go into more detail I think the Martin Penny's story was well written, the 3 main cast members, Paul, Steve and Dave, were on sparkling form, oh and by the way welcome back Nick and Rob, and the rest of the cast were just magic. The production was excellent too.
I think from that you can take that I liked it and I can't wait for part two.

Yes, thankyou for the comments Chris! And everyone else who has commented, I'm glad the story has gone down well!

I do think it's a very traditional tale - with nervous scientists, a space station, evil corporate executives and robot security guards!

Can I just say, our internet was down for most of the weekend (that's what happens when a puppy chews through your phone cable) so I haven't had the chance yet this week to sit down properly and give time to listening to part 1 - but I certainly hope to do so before part 2 on Saturday. The positive comments on here are making me very keen to give it a listen!

Maybe Martin can write a mini-episode about it
