Affiliated Links

I’m a little confused about the purchasing of DVD’s and the like via the PS affiliated links.

When you physically type in the special link to get to the website, you then go and search for what you want but when you get there the special code you’ve typed into the address bar which denotes it’s a PS affiliated has disappeared. Does the website know you’ve still entered via that link or does the tracking history disappear when you veer away from the homepage?

Any help/advice would be appreciated.

If you click the logo of the shop you want to visit you'll be taken straight to the front page of that shop's website and as long as you don't close that window, whatever shopping you do will be tracked.

The special links are only if you want to post something in the bargains thread. You don't need them if you just visit the website via the general affiliated link and search for the item you're looking for.
