    Default David Tennant Biography

I don't recall hearing even a whisper of this one, so maybe it totally slipped under the radar? Either way, the shelves of Waterstones were full of 'em today:

I spotted it in Forbidden Planet. Looked a bit cheap.

The copyright dodging logo (it's Doctor Who - but not so much that we'd have to pay for it) is a dead give-away. Cheap and nasty.

    Nasty and in your tummy.

I've seen it on my travels, and noticed that it has a very long glossary. Which rather suggests low content on the biography front.*

I dunno - I don't really agree with the biographies of relatively young stars. In fact it seems frankly ridiculous.

I mean Billie Piper has one only in her 20s, Jordan is on her second.

And too many "celeb" biographies are really awfully written. I'm hating that whole "year of reading" advert with it's blatent plug of Geri Halliwells autobiography - thank God for the ironic way Jo Brand reads it.

Based on a review I saw on OG from someone who had it bought for them, it seems to be a lot of stuff about his life culled from newspaper interviews and things, followed by a huge chunk on his Doctor Who episodes as well as other TV shows he was in (including plot summaries). Then the rest seems to be about people he worked with - all in all not worth the bother.

It'll probably end up in The Works by Christmas
