International Talk Like A Pirate Day
I always seem to forget about this - it fell on Friday 19th September this year.

Did anyone do this? I feel missing out on International Talk Like A Pirate Day is like missing out of Christmas.

Although not technically a Pirate - it's hard to top Tom Bakers role as a captain in Blackadder, who's missing both legs.
"We're stuck we a legless Captain."
"No I'm not, I've not touched a drop ..."

Si Hart and Rob McCow should know - they've done all the Blackadders recently back-to-back.

I saw a lot of people talking like pirates on Saturday- Otley were at home to the Cornish Pirates and the away supporters all seemed to have Cornish accents as thick as clotted cream.
Ironically, the only Pirates player I actually heard speaking had the kind of South African accent which leaves you suspecting that he'd rather have five minutes alone in a locked room with Nelson Mandela and a truncheon than spending his Saturday afternoon running around playing rugby.
