I woke up to John Barrowman this morning.

Who needs an alarm when you've got John shouting: IAN CRAGG IS ALRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!!!

We watched Frenzy, a Hitchcock film that featured Anna (old fake Charlie) Massey, Bernard (Cribbo) Cribbins, Michael (Renegade Dalek Base) Sheard, Jean (limitations of their technologies) Marsh, Noel (Grover) Johnson, Clive (A house!) Swift, George (squashed by mummies) Tovey and that bit of the Thames where they Nestenes have built a giant wheel now, but before the wheel was built.

And (AND!) Covent Garden market that was once menaced by a War Machine.
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

I've only just realised that Ben Turner, who played the King in 'The Girl In The Fireplace' is one of the regulars in 'Casualty'!

Similarly, I only recently noticed that Andree Bernard, Dolly Bailey in The Shakespeare Code, with her special treat for William, was also Nervous Nerys who Rodney takes out for a date and a drive in the 1988 Only Fools And Horses Christmas special, Dates.

This is probably a pretty tenuous Spot, but yesterday I was trimming our back hedge of brambles, etc and putting the cuttings into our big greeen wheely bin. When it started raining I gave up the job, leaving the bin in the middle of the grass.

It's been raining a lot since then, so the bin is still there, sat in our back garden at a slightly rakish angle, and no doubt delighting the hearts of the Telegoons who followed...

Was watching the Seeds Of Death earlier, and then went straight on to an episode of the Saint from October 1966, who should pop up but dear old Patrick Troughton

I'm very pleased to have now watched so much Grange Hill that Michael Sheard's Mr Bronson has arrived! He's an utterly terrifying teacher- even now! Excllent work from Mr Sheard and it's no wonder he's so well remembered.

Last night we watched Sir Ian McKellan and Patrick Stewart on stage in Waiting for Godot. They were supported by Simon Callow and Ronald Pickup (who may or may not have been in Doctor Who).

Peter Davison, in peak-time drama, playing cricket.

Not Black Orchid, but tonight's Midsomer Murders. I also spotted the Borg Queen from Star Trek: First Contact, and (I think) Tommy from Torchwood 2:3.

A random 40-minute sampling of Radio 4 from about 4.15 to 4.55 this afternoon produced Rudolph Walker on 'Last Words' talking about one of the writers of 'Love thy Neighbour' followed by Mark Gatiss and David Warner on the Film Programme.

I've visited around 10 charity shops today and I didn't spot a SINGLE Doctor Who video.

    Is that normal?

I spotted loads of Who stuff at Kelvingrove's Doctor Who Exhibition this afternoon. Fingering Astrid's tiny boots, Martha's top and Lady Christina de Souza's trousers were the highlights of my day/week/month.

Another tenuous entry from me, but walking through Barnstaple Pannier Market today, I noticed on the book stall some sort of romance novel, written by... Victor Pemberton!!!

Ahh yes, he's very popular with ladies of a certain age you know. He's forging a career writing family sagas these days.

I've just finished watching Sapphire and Steel Adventure 2 which features Tom Kelly from Face of Evil/ The Sunmakers/ The Invasion of Time as the soldier.
