Heather's cancer Doctor in tonight's "Eastenders" was none other than... Paul "not the mind probe" Jerricho!

James Bree in an episode of the original Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased).

It's the first time I've ever seen him in anything where he's just acting normally!

It warmed my heart last night when the delightful Cyril Shaps turned up in pt 5 of The Invisible Man.

Doctor Who got a mention on this weeks "Have I Got News For You". The comment went something like:

"Gordon Brown gets bad news delivered using a 'sandwich' approach... so they give him a bit of bad news, but sandwich it between two bits of good news. So they'll say Hey Gordon, the sun is out, you've completed buggered up the economy but there's a new Doctor Who on tonight!"

As part of its 'Da Vinci Code' night, Five are showing a programme all about Henry Lincoln. I don't know if the Yeti were mentioned, though...

I hope what I just wrote made sense, it did when I was thinking it.

Did I imagine it, or did Andrew Cartmel get name-checked by Graham Norton at the end of last night's Euro-commentary?

The same name appeared at the end of Barrowman's Tonight's The Night...
