It's like an advent calendar where you have to wait until christmas eve for the biggest & best chocolate.

It's like when you've gone to a big all day concert, & you've got to sit through all these meh bands before you get to the one you're waiting to see.

Today's guest has made a huge contribution to the world of Doctor Who, old and new. His association begin in 1977 when he voiced a great big rubbish prawn and carries on with a last minute cameo in the latest episode of the show on BBC 1 and takes in just one on screen appearance... He is of course, the voice of K9 himself...

    John Leeson

We mentioned to John how we cheered everytime K9 turns up in the new series or the Sarah Jane Adventures. "Not half as much as I do!" he replied!

He was very down to earth, mentioning he looks forward to K9 reappearing because "it's another fee"

What this thread needs is some help with the costumes. Say something in a cheap but expensive looking fabric to add a touch of glamour. Maybe a hat- a hat always says glamour.

One of the icons of the era, responsible for some of the most operatic costumes ever seen in the show...

    June Hudson

Wow! This woman is genuinely wonderful. Full of admiration for the show and her time on it. She thanked us all for our appreciation of her work and told me all about how the Servalan costume with the lizard from Pressure Point was made. I could have chatted to her ages about her work.

    More tomorrow, of course!

Today's star is one of the architects of the Key to Time season, without whom David Fisher would never have written for the show... The Horns of Nimon wouldn't have been written... Yes it's...

    Anthony Read

A talented and pleasent man, Anthony Read oversaw the end of Season 15, the whole of Season 16 and went onto to write for season 17, thus being one of the architects of the Graham Williams era. One of the most touching of his talk was his memories of his friend Graham Williams. They had a great working relationship and he's much missed.

    More soon!

She was, but I didn't get a photo with her I'm afraid Wayne. I was a bit slow to get started on the day.

Is there not a "Si Hunt Camps It Up With The Pirate Captain's Nurse" hiding away somewhere?

I asked Anthony Read about his Sapphire and Steel story as I've always wondered how he came to be the only person apart from P J Hammond to write one! Alas the answer was less interesting than the question, and it was simple illness behind it. But he did tell me that he and Don Houghton did it a bit like Nation and Spooner did "Daleks Masterplan", i.e they wrote it week on week and had fun getting each other into impossible-to-get-out-of cliifhangers.
