Some stars you meet are often well known to you through their other work. This gentleman was responsible for voicing something I remember well from my childhood, Hartley Hare... yes it's the voice of Pipkins...

    Nigel Plaskitt

The poor bloke had a to share a panel with June Hudson and was a little overshadowed sadly. He did though wow us all with an original prop from The Ribos Operation, his wrist communicator. He was clearly very fond of Unstoffe and playing opposite the mighty Iain Cuthbertson, whom he admired greatly. Another lovely bloke.

Plaskitt was great! I told him all about me and Simon and he was very interested (well it passed the time). Also when he did the guests he kept slipping in his 'Hartley Hare' voice when they mentioned it, like it was a bit of a treat for them bless him.

Also I finally asked him the question that was nagging at me - did it freak him out when people took photos OF him, rather than with him (it did)! You know, I find it normal that people want to be snapped with their heroes, but some of them just pointed the camera at the celeb and took a photo of them alone! I mean, what's the point? What are they going to do with them? ("I dread to think" muttered Nigel).

You've all been very patient. We've collected many of the stars of the Key to Time series, but there's one name that's synomous above all others with season 16. She only did the one year before handing over to an even better companion () and here she is... she's still glam... she's is of course....

    MARY TAMM!

    Worth the wait wasn't it?
Mary revealed, for the style conscious among you that her outft for the day came, not from the depths of June Hudson's imagination or the rutatania of Tara, but from Primark. Yes, Mary Tamm is glam on a budget! Hooray!

Well that's it for now, but rest ssured, more camping it up will be done soon!

I think it's only fitting that you look extra gleeful on that pic.
You may be not be a ladies man, but the Tamm is one of those extra special people that brings out that 10% 'swing both ways' in all of us.

Alas the answer was less interesting than the question, and it was simple illness behind it. But he did tell me that he and Don Houghton did it a bit like Nation and Spooner did "Daleks Masterplan", i.e they wrote it week on week and had fun getting each other into impossible-to-get-out-of cliifhangers.

Bloody spooky - I must have been channeling the spirit of Si Hunt that day, because that's exactly what I asked him about as well (well - it was precisely How did he compare writing for S & S with DW)

Sorry to you , Si, if he rolled his eyes as if to say 'Not that old chestnut again "

    A classic from the archives!

Though considering how many of you went to the Key To Time event, we haven't seen many pics around PS. We demand more new Tamm!
