Default BF 110: The Boy That Time Forgot

This has the most bizarre plot of any Big Finish yet.

    And the episode 1 Cliffhanger!

    "It can't be...."

    "Is it really you?"

    OH MY!!

We haven't heard this one yet, but I have my suspicions about who this mysterious person might be... there are clues on the cover and in some of the character names...

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

Go on Si, have a guess! I won't give away if you are right or not.

Well I'm guessing it's Adric... but it can't be, can it?

I'm not saying either way or it'd ruin the surprise.

I'm actually only on Episode 3, I shall finish it tomorrow.

I've just read the spoilers. Sounds mad!

This one is enjoyable. In a kind of crazy way. It flags a bit in the middle but picks up in Part 4 to a pretty satisfying conclusion. The interviews with Davison and Sutton are worth a listen. Its probably cruel by now but still amusing!

I'm assuming the mysterious returnee is the Abbot of Amboise. Excellent idea.

That was superb. Paul Magrs is turning out to be one of the best BF Audio writers still writing nowadays.

It was a story that wasn't afraid to be fun. Andrew Sachs was fabulous in the title role and wonderfully vicious in recreating the role he was playing. (Buh? Who?!)

The subsidiary characters were great as well, Mrs. Mapp and the missing 'Professor Quandry'. The giant killer scorpions weren't quite so distinctive, but they were still memorable. There were a lot of clever touches throughout the play, plenty of clever continuity references. That said, the last few scenes were quite melancholy and the Boy's eventual fate was well realised.

    Excellent!
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Not a bad story. For me it was a bit formulaic but still likeable. An interesting concept that worked quite well.

The best bit for me was Sarah Sutton & Peter Davison talking about Matthew Waterhouse's 'acting' ability.

Davison and Sutton were both very naughty! And funny!
