Following your comments and suggestions on the other thread, here is your chance to vote for your favourite characters, performances and adventures in the Planet Skaro audios series! As the current season is still underway, this poll will cover what has retrospectively been designed Season 1 of the Audio's only - that's Echoes of the Protii, Soap Of Fatal Death, Keepsake and Doctor Who and the Christmas Gnomes (and the "minisode" Consequences). A second poll in the new year will seek your opinion on this years adventures.

We think it would be more fun if the votes were confidential (and you can then vote freely without fear of not voting for mates!!) so all we ask is that you copy and paste the categories below into an e-mail, highlight your choices (or remove the other nominations), and send it to psaudios@yahoo.co.uk

As well as your chosen winner(s) in each category, please include any comments you have, amusing or otherwise. This will both liven up the results presentation and give us some feedback for the future! We arn't just doing this for back-patting, we want to know what YOU want to hear more of on audio in the future!

You are welcome to vote for whoever or whatever deserves to win each category, regardless of if it's your own story/character etc. If you are a writer, performer or producer of the plays, please vote as well!

The closing date for entries is Monday 3 November, and the results will be announced the following weekend!

Now without further ado, here are the shortlisted nominations!

Just so you know, I'll be compiling the results and intend to present some awards to whoever is around at the big meet in November. Photo oppotunites abound there! The results will be posted on PS on the Sunday, once I've got over my hangover!

Where is "Old Charlie" in this listing - seems a travesty to me to omit him!

It is a shortlist so we didn't include every character, but I have tried to include anyone mentioned when we asked for suggestions in the other thread!

Can I suggest as well under funniest moment - the brilliant sequence from Soap of Fatal Death where we see some of the "lost adventures" - the whole "Breadly Assassin" and Vera saying "Those Ice Warriors ain't right ... they ain't got no hats!".

    Classic and uniquely PS.

It wasn't Vera, it was Mrs Hilda Harold, wife of Harold H. Harold. It has now been added to the options.

Wasn't "Do your Wiki, Ricky." a Professor Bonham line and not Ricky Bonham?

I think that's a lovely idea, reminds me of the days when we used to have the forum awards, a long long time ago now!

I'm still working on my votes. This has proved much more difficult than i anticipated, & has involved me recapping on the older audios over the last couple of days. It's kind of easy to forget just how much fun the likes of Soap of Fatal Death & Christmas Gnomes were, & just how many great characters/performances there were in S1. In fact listening to them again after quite some time, has made me appreciate them more than the first time round. These are not easy decisions!

I know what you mean, Wayne. I think, for me, no matter how good the future plays are I'll always have a soft spot for Echoes & Soap.

I just think it's a shame that we can't do this in vBulletin.
Perhaps Pip ought to suggest multiple polls per thread or something to the manufacturers?

The whole point is meant to be that the results are kept secret until the meet up, surely? In any case I don't think we should be trying to push the server any more given the current situation

It could do with a banner really Si - though I know no-one has time to do it. If I've time tomorrow I could try and knock something up. But isn't it due to be replaced with the banner for Si Hunts story at the weekend anyway?

    Site's too damn popular.

Ratanapura stays up till Sunday, when Paul Monk & Si Hart's story replaces it.
