Default EYE OF THE DALEKS - Cover revealed

Yes, I'm afraid "The Crystal Eye" was a 'decoy' title. The story's proper title has always been...

Unfortunately with our website problems, Episode 1 is not currently available to download - I'll try and fix this asap, but unfortunately I don't have enough personal webspace free at the moment to move it over. I think most of you heard it over the weekend though, and if you didn't...

Both Episode 1 and Episode 2 will be available this Saturday in the form of the shiny newly-pressed CD, which will be available both from the PS Meet in Victoria on Saturday night, and by post to arrive for the weekend if you order promptly!

In Episode 2, the war between the Daleks and the Krotons begins to consume the Crystal Planet. The Doctor and his friends are caught in the middle - this time, victory is not going to come without sacrifice...

To pre-order for a Saturday arrival, bung me the ever-so-bargainous amount of two quid plus an optional donation for the Childrens Charity, either via paypal (si_hunt99@yahoo.com) or cheque/postal order (to 13 Hazel Gardens, Sawbridgeworth, Herts CM21 9RD) and I will dispatch your CD.

The CD is packed to bursting with the following goodies:

    - Both episodes, including the dramatic, season ending climax that is Episode 2, as yet unheard!
    - "Enjoy Your Shoes" - a brand new, fully dramatised mini-adventure starring Steve Alexander as Rob McCow
    - The original trailer
    - A reel of out-takes from the making of the story

And remember, anything you give in appreciation of the CD goes straight to the Childrens Charity Hospice Shop, and our quest to keep it open!

    Thank you!

    Si.

Unfortunately I can't change the website banner for the same reason that people can't download the episode

Can you not change the URL? E-mail me the banner and I'll host it.

    Can't change the URL, sadly:

Required variables have gone missing and execution can not continue. Please try again.

This error can sometimes occur as a result of Suhosin / Hardened PHP being installed on your server. If you know that you have Suhosin running and you have access to the PHP configuration, try increasing the value of the following variables:
    php_value suhosin.post.max_vars
    php_value suhosin.request.max_vars
Maybe Phil can work that one out? Alternatively, Phil can FTP the image and overwrite it.

What a great cover! Well done Pip. That might well be my favourite!

It's a great shame that people can't hear the stpry at the moment, but I'm sure that's not going to dampen anyone's enthusiasm for it when they do.

Hope people liked the surprise return of Doctor Who's arch enemies! It was a lot of fun to write for them. And the Daleks!

    Si xx

Put me down for a CD Si.

I'll see you at the meet on Saturday, so we'll exchange the CD(s)* and money then.

(* don't forget I want "The Curse of Ratanapura" as well).

I'll have a Eye of the Daleks CD on Saturday too, if that's OK!

Si - did I send you a donation for the Ratanapura CD?

The cover is cool and awesome and the Daleks are the right colour (unlike on the TV show!) 10/10.

The covers for the CDs are now well up to BF's current standard, in my opinion!
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

The Daleks look like new series ones but with a pimped up paint job. Better looking that way.

I can host the episodes if you like. Just Sendspace them to me and I'll upload them.
Dennis, Francois, Melba and Smasher are competing to see who can wine and dine Lola Whitecastle and win the contract to write her memoirs. Can Dennis learn how to be charming? Can Francois concentrate on anything else when food is on the table? Will Smasher keep his temper under control?

If only the 28th century didn't keep popping up to get in Dennis's way...

Ta Wayne, and Ta Lissa too!

I'll try and clear some webspace and put Episode 2 up early Saturday, in case people want to hear it before they get their CD in the evening.

Btw, Chris, Phil and everyone else that asked, yes CD's are available by post or from the meet, no need to reserve.

Is it too late to say how much I enjoyed this?

I loved the Dalek voices although there did seem to be a bit of an accent once or twice. But all in all a very good story & really good production values.

And Enjoy your Shoes was very emotional.
