Default WHO put the most miles on the TARDIS?

Simply by years travelled in the TARDIS with respect to time.

I was wondering about this, mainly cos I think Jon Pertwee probably is the Doctor who travelled the least in the TARDIS, but he still probably travelled more than Paul McGann, who moved only a little in the TARDIS in his tennure.

David Tennant has to be a strong contender, cos he travelled to the end of the Universe.

But didn't Peter Davison travel back in time to the Big Bang ... twice.

Pure fan prattle, but Who do you think?

David Tennant travelled back to the creation of the Earth; that's got to be pretty close to the Big Bang.

Peter only went backwards in time, back to the first event the once in the TARDIS, but yes that's got to be a pretty big trip.

Tom of course took it into another universe, which he thoroughly traversed, so that's got to have been a pretty big trip too.

Not really. Earth is quite young in comparrison to the centre of our galaxy & our galaxy isn't exactly old with regards to our universe I would guess.

I thought Peter Davison pilots the ship thingy back to the beginning of time to start the Big Bang in Terminus?

And I suppose he didn't really pilot it back to the Big Bang in Castravalva, but he kind of joy rode it a bit. Why the Time Lord council never introduced the crime "Under The Influence of Regeneration And In Charge Of A TARDIS" is beyond me.

Any Doctor knows you don't drive when you've just undergone a massive transformation proceedure.

That wouldn't put miles on the TARDIS though, would it? Which was your original question...

Don't forget he went to the other end of the universe too, in Utopia.

Also, are we counting spin-off media?

Cos if we are, then i should probably invoke The Infinity Doctors.

and he also travelled back 400 million years to well before the creation of life on earth, and went a long way in to the future /(30,000 years i think it was ) while travelling to the last known planet in the universe of matter.

Trouble is, Jon Pertwee invalidated the warranty by taking the console out.

In a single season I reckon it was Patrick Troughton during season 6b because he was working for the Time Lords at the time and probably being paid mileage expenses. It's a perk.
Dennis, Francois, Melba and Smasher are competing to see who can wine and dine Lola Whitecastle and win the contract to write her memoirs. Can Dennis learn how to be charming? Can Francois concentrate on anything else when food is on the table? Will Smasher keep his temper under control?

If only the 28th century didn't keep popping up to get in Dennis's way...

Of course Patrick Troughton was the only Doctor to take the TARDIS into fairytale land, causing the TARDIS to split and that oh so iconic image ...

The 4th Doctor in season 17 visited more far-flung places than ever before... from Chloris to Cambridge, there's some severe galactic hopping going on in that series!
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!
