So is this series going to be the end for Sarah Jane and her chums?
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

    Why do you say that?

This is a full-on appearance for the Doctor as he and Sarah Jane face their biggest threat ever."

Meanwhile, Doctor Who may be heading for the big screen after a spokeswoman for BBC Films confirmed that "a script is in development".

BBC entertainment correspondent Lizo Mzimba said there were no guarantees a film would be made and that, if the project went into full production, a release would be a long time away.
This is to quash the idea of a film too near the fifth series? After sharp-eyed PSers spotted the credit on Rusty's list of current projects?

Oh god, not again. I can't think of any more dreary news than hearing the phrase, "A Doctor Who feature film is in development."

I hope there's some scenes of hypnotised crowds walking down the street this year.

And an embarassing / comic moment where one of the kids' parents discovers that ALIENS ARE REAL!

That said, I love all that stuff. All it needs now is a return guest appearance for Hale and Pace. Teaming up with Cannon and Ball?

Nigel Havers has been confirmed for a guest role on the new series of The Sarah Jane Adventures. The veteran actor is expected to appear in two episodes of series three, playing a character who "looks set to change things for Sarah Jane Smith forever".

Brian Miller, actor husband of Elisabeth Sladen, will also guest in the new run. Producer Nikki Wilson told Doctor Who Magazine: "He was simply ideal casting for this pivotal role, which sees him in conflict with Sarah Jane and the gang. Although there's a lot more going on with Brian's character than might first appear."
Sladen using her powers to get her husband some work eh

We cheered to hear that Nigel Havers is going to be in the show! He's got comic timing second only to Paul Eddington you know.

We hope he's going to marry Sarah Jane!

When's Sadie going to be in it then?

    Or Brendan for that matter?

RTD reveals that the episode of SJA guest starring the Doctor will be called 'The Wedding Of Sarah Jane Smith'. (It's a two-parter)

I wish they'd go further into the realms of the child-friendly titles. I want "Sarah Jane Goes To The Shops", "Sarah Jane Learns How To Swim" and "Sarah Jane Discovers Road Safety". If they can't afford to make the current style of series, she could find her niche as the new Auntie Mabel.
