Default Blakes 7 - The Cult Of

for The Cult of Blakes 7 that was just on BBC4. We were shocked to discover that Jan Chappel pronounces her surname "Shapp-ell" and not "Chapel"!

What's more, Gareth Thomas asked to direct some episodes. He's never said that before!

And now Jacqueline Pearce has gone from being a masturbatory fantasy for her teen fans to a masturbatory fantasy for AN ENTIRE GENERATION!!!!! She's said it before, she'll say it again, and it gets bigger each time!
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

She could be a masturbatory fantasy right now - she looked amazing!

She's certainly aged better than Sally Knyvette (pron. Niv-ett, which I never knew before!)

I've never fancied her. I think it's the big nose that does it. She reminds me too much of my Mum, who at one time could almost be mistaken for Barbara Striesland whenever their respective hair styles co-incided. (Sorry Mum)

But what about it being Jan Sh-Appell? That's a revelation!

Jackie Pearce was looking really, really good wasn't she? All that lovely hair!

    Si xx

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

I missed this, but I (a) am also astounded that it's pronounced Shappell, rather than Ch-; and (b) also never found Servalan attractive, I think because of the too-short hair.

    That is all!

Is it just me, or has Gareth Thomas turned into George Baker?

The cast's all worn well though-which is nice.

I'm sure they call her Chappell on all the DVD extras/commentaries!? Pearce is still worth a pop! Knyvette should be playing Liz McDonald's mum in Corrie.
