    Pedant alert.
Stepping aside from that, did you really miss him on the commentaries for Ghost Light and Battlefield? Remembrance is a fairly stodgy affair and Fenric little better. Survival is alrightI guess. But the Ghost Light one is actually quite informative and the Battlefield one a jolly romp!

I agree - Remembrance, unless my memory's cheating, was more or less Sophie doing a one-woman show, with old Slyboots adding very little. I'm not sure I've ever heard the Fenric one, but certainly (and unexpectedly I'd say) Sylvester isn't all that great on the commentary front.

It's amazing when you consider he's got such a track record of being entertaining on audio.

No. Apparently a few did turn up, but weren't thought long/important enough to include. The main reason for including ep.1 was because there was about an extra five minutes, and the scenes are re-arranged in different order.

More annoyingly, apparently the reason there is no 5.1 mix on this release is because it was "conceived" as a standard edition release....

I was about to reply that this story was of course made before 5.1 was around, but then I realised what a bloody stupid reply it would be...

(Sorry, it's been a long day...)

Anyway, ignoring my dimness for a moment, this looks a really good package, I have to say.

Delta and The Bannermen coming this June! Extras added!
The title of this thread keeps making me think they've used CGI effects to implant a few hundred extra people milling around in the background throughout the story...
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Who'd like to see the cover?

    OK then...

    I really like it.

It's actually quite nice, isn't it?

Far more photographic than a lot of the recent covers, and not over-done with one colour splurged through it!

    I like it!

It's not completely orange, or green or blue. It's just got colours in it!

I don't like it. Worst cover for some time.

My only complaints are that it's still a LITTLE washed out looking (they couldn't let the natural colours shine completely of course), some kind of dull grey sheen applied I suspect, and the bus is badly photoshopped and looks like it's flying out of McCoy's stomach. But it's a good rare picture of McCoy and good overall choice of images.

Is it? Not trying to be funny, but a picture of McCoy emphasising question marks with his umbrella doesn't seem to be very rare?

I don't really know what you mean! He's just holding his umbrella surely. You might as well say there are no rare photos of Tom Baker's Doctor because they all have him wearing his scarf? I don't immediately recognise this photo of McCoy.

    Oh well....

Probably just me, just didn't strike me as being that rare.

It's not bad (Time-Flight) but I would've liked to have seen Mel on the cover - I never thought I'd say that... is it a Chickman cover?

    Quiet you!

The cover does look a bit photocopied/low-res. Maybe it'll be cleaned up in time for release?

McCoy looks a bit shifty and beady-eyed on that cover. Maybe it's the lighting.

At least it's easier on the eye than Arc of Infinity.

I like it, I really do! They could have gone for something gloriously and deliberately OTT, but in fact the cover is quite 'dramatic'. And I'm glad to see the season 24 'battered' hat heavily featured - I'm sure the continuity girl hated it, but I love it!!

Mr Rayner has a revelation that will rock the High Council to its very foundations and kill two birds with one Alan Lake.

It's the wrong bloody bus! Isn't it?!

That's the bus that turns up at the end I think. Not that I would guess that to have been a deliberate mistake, but they can probably get away with it!!

I like that cover. It's not unlike the novel...

...in as much as they both use the "Shang-Ri La" sign. It's certainly better than the orange video cover with 1970s TARDIS.
