Doctor Who Annual bestseller again!
Last year's Doctor Who Annual somehow managed to make it into the top ten selling Children's Books of 2008. Shame the Storybook doesn't sell so well, as they're always much better!
The Top 10 book last year were:
1 The Tales of Beedle the Bard by J K Rowling 856,268
2 Disney High School Musical Annual 284,806
3 In the Night Garden: Little Library 266,504
4 Twilight by Stephenie Meyer 252,454
5 The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas (tie-in) by John Boyne 238,777
6 New Moon by Stephenie Meyer 235,158
7 Doctor Who: the Official Annual 225,096
8 Beano Annual 216,048
9 Brisingr by Christopher Paolini 195,204
10 Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer 194,233
As you can see the Annual was the second best selling annula behind the very popular High School Musical brand.

That's an interesting list & great to see the Annual doing so well.
No surprise at the number one spot, but that's good news for the CHLG charity.

It pains me to see High School Musical so high on the list.
For every fail, there is an equal and opposite win.
...Oh, who am I kidding?

Don't you want to bop, bop, bop, bop till you drop then?
I agree with Si, though, that it's a shame the annual does so much better than the far superior Storybook - I've got all three of them (so far!) and not only do they have better content than the Annual, they also look much better.
