    Default The Si Hart Years

Currently I'm the Keeper of the Hart family photos and I'm going to take you back through the Si Hart years...

Let's go back just over 33 years to 1975... and who's this happy chappy?

See, even as a baby I was a happy soul!

Sadly the colours have faded a little on this one, but it's one of the Hart family favourites from 1977:

1979 and stripes were the hot fashion:

1981 and the duffel coat look arrived:

I was bored by Pertwee from an early age it seems:

    July 7th 1983- my 8th Birthday- I got a tent and a Davison T-Shirt!

And 1984 was my second visit to Longleat:

1991: Big Hair, even bigger glasses!

    1994: Longleat again!

    Happy memories for me!

    Si xx

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

Bless! Those glasses are Su Pollard-esque Si!

You'd better all be good, or like a slow and rumbling but inevitable express train "The Si Hunt Years" will be upon you all.

    Si.

Is it just me, or is anybody else seeing a young Andrew Cartmel in the 'back to Longleat' picture?

1979 looks a bit like Janet Fielding as she does now!

    They're not glasses, they're re-entry sheilds!

    Great pic's Si.

I can't believe you turned out to be a librarian with glasses like that.

These days, of course, Si has exquisite taste in glasses...

That's an improvement on "a young Andrew Cartmel" at least!
