New series trailer is up here:

I thought it looked rather good! Nice to hear John Leeson.

Plus points: Not set in Cardiff! Nice moody robot fascist angle. Human characters etc...
And then you have the actual K9 design...well, there's no point me saying I won't watch as I clearly will! It would be interesting to see how it compares to The Sarah Jane Adventures anyway?
Maybe it won't have "farting aliens" but what would it have in it's place?...
    Thanks for posting the clip!

I was really impressed by the monster design on the trailer, there were some great-looking aliens. On the other hand, these were only glimpses!
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Good to see Leeson adding his voice as the trailer posted on youtube back in May is clearly voiced by someone else.

I’m being extremely clever up here and there’s no one to stand around looking impressed! What’s the point in having you all?

We couldn't get the channel. If you managed to get it on DVD, can you bring it over?

I'm quite looking forward to it, though it's a bit buried on XD.

It's apparently coming to the Disney Channel in the UK as well this Spring though. Just don't know when...

    It begins... Next Saturday!
The K9 adventure series will premier in the UK and Australia on Saturday 3rd April 2010.

In the UK the series will launch at 4pm on the Disney XD channel with episode two showing the following day also at 4pm.

In Australia series will launch at at 9.30am on the TEN network

The new 26 episode children's series features an animated version of the robot dog which appeared in Doctor Who from 1977-1981 before returning in the 2006 story School Reunion.

The series has been jointly created by Bob Baker and Paul Tams. Baker, working with his then writing partner, Dave Martin, created the original K9 for the fourth Doctor story The Invisible Enemy. John Leeson once more voices the character of K9.

The series is currently showing in Scandinavia where it premièred in January. It was shot between December 2008 and May 2009 in Brisbane, Australia. It is co-produced by Stewart & Wall Entertainment and London-based Park Entertainment.

We don't have that lost channel in our digital package alas.

Please God there are plenty of "Neighbours" actors in this!

We don't have it either- unless Steve phones Sky and subscribes.... but what are the chances of that happening?

We could probably get Virgin to add it but life feels too short.

Do we think the transmission date of the first episode is just a massive coincidence, or not?

Well technically, Australia doesn't get Series 5 DW for another two weeks after BBC shows it. But yeah, maybe they're competing for figures?

I this context I feel "Who let the dogs out" becomes more of a statement than a question ...

I just watched the first episode and I must say, I enjoyed it. I anticipated it being a cheap rip-off of Doctor Who, but it's quite good. I am looking forward to two things next month, now!

It costs one pound a month extra to get Disney XD. Though I must say, if it wasn't for K-9 it wouldn't be worth it.
