When Comedy Goes Horribly Wrong
I've just seen a clip from Al Murray's forthcoming sketch show, and I thought it was horrific.

To me it's the sort of crap that wouldn't have raised a smile in the seventies, full of lazy tedious gay jokes that made me feel quite angry by the end of it.
Now I love comedy to pieces, it's a huge passion of mine, but I feel there's nothing worse than when it fails to work. So what are your least favourite comedies? What are the ones that you feel are appalling, offensive, or that you can't believe ever made it on to tv?Last edited by Alex; 22nd Feb 2009 at 5:06 PM.

I love Al Murray as the Pub Landlord but I have to agree, that was pretty shocking. Let's hope the rest of the show isn't as bad!

Oooh dear! If I'm right in thinking, this is the show that was being recorded at Fountain Studios in Wembley when myself and Dave where down in London. Given that our visit was back in July last year, maybe ITV had some doubts? This is ITV though, so it must be quite good if they did have any doubts about it!

That looks a horrible cross between Allo Allo and Little Britain.
Nasty in your tummy.

Oh my god! Not good. I think Al Murray has been the Pub Landlord far too long now. Its clearly affected his brain.
It was a bad for me when I found out that Spike Milligan, a huge hero of mine, did Curry and Chips!
