Believe June, then you won't be disapointed if it comes early.

It'll be interesting to see this in tacky, nasty, ropey old DVD quality after the HD extravaganza that was broadcast.

On the other hand, the only real difference I've noticed is the Twinkly Eye Factor (TEF) where everybody's eyes twinkle all the time in HD.

Except... dammit, will the Blu-Ray version have surround sound?

The title sequence was, admittedly, much more gorgeous in HD. But they did re-make it.

It's either buy a Blu Ray machine or have it stuck on the V-Box for all eternity, knowing that to transfer it anywhere else will transform it into sludgy, NASTY, just plain unwatchable old DVD quality.

    Let's get one!

I think I'll wait another year, at least until Matt Smith's first season has aired. By then they might have come under £200 for a good one.

Currys do a cheap one for £99.99 - can't say if it's any good though! They have 6 under £200 though, including Sony and Samsung.

It'd be interesting to see the sales figures for the Bluray. And I suppose we have to assume that this will be a 'vanilla' bluray, to be followed down the line with a bells & whistles one.
