Which leads us into New Earth (or not?)
I love the bit at the end where the Doctor has the conversation with the Face of Boe. 'We shall meet for the third time, for the last time... goodbye!' but the actual Magic Moment is where he teleports out at the end of the conversation. As the Doctor says, textbook enigmatic. Sometimes I wish I could teleport out at the end of a conversation!Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

In my view, the scene that redeems the less-than-great "New Earth" (and which is about fifty times better than the rest of it) is at the end, where Cassandra goes back to herself at an old party.
"You're beautiful. You're so very, very beautiful."
It encapsulates someone old, looking back at a time in their lives when they were at their socialising, beautiful peak and they didn't know it. And then, just for a second, she does.
Lovely.
Si.

School Reunion
So many to chose from, but I'm going to pick the glorious final scene with "My Sarah Jane" and the new K9 appearing as the TARDID dematerialises. Even now it still makes me cry because it's such a gorgeous ending to a lovely little story.

Yes, it is. Attack From Under The Bed, first shown 31 November 1982.
Now, as for The Girl In The Fireplace, there's a rather sweet conversation between the Doctor and Reinette about being on the slow path when she joins him looking through the window. It's understated and reflective, with the Doctor being gently self-deprecating, and Reinette ultimately turning out to have the upper hand. One of the quieter moments the new series has offered.

The Idiot's Lantern
"Shouldn't you be at the ceremony?!"
"They're saving me a seat!"
Either that or Rose pointing out to the mean dad that the Union Flag he put up has been hung upside down. PWNED!

The Impossible Planet
"We must feed....we must feed....we must feed you!"

Until them, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties, Just go forward in all your beliefs,
and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine!

Love and Monsters is a love it or hate it episode, but since I love it there are lots of possible MMs from this one. Today, though, I'm going for the scene early on where Elton says "You can't beat a bit of ELO" - every time I hear that song on the radio, it makes me grin!!

Fear Her
Got to be trying to parallel-park the TARDIS. That and the Doctor's fleeting mention of his family. For every fail, there is an equal and opposite win.
...Oh, who am I kidding?

Army of Ghosts/ Doomsday
Got to the scenes at Bad Wolf Bay. Wonderfully shot and incredibly moving, despite being somewhat diluted by the revisit last year.

I think the magic moment for me in that story was when the Cyberman burst through a family's front door, and one of the kids bolted up the stairs only for another Cyberman to emerge up there. Doctor Who finally literally brings the monsters into an average family home.

Can we assume everyone's going to choose the motorway sequence for The Runaway Bride and move on to Smith & Jones?

Probably - although an honourable mention should also go to the short segway-riding sequence, where the Doctor & Donna just start laughing. It's contagious, as it always makes me laugh too!!
So onto the gorgeous Miss Jones then...

Smith and Jones
I really like the end sequence with Martha and the Doctor and the TARDIS and "Like this". Clever stuff. The "But it's made of wood!" line makes me smile.

The Shakespeare Code
I like the pre-titles sequence - it sums up nicely what the story is going to be like, gives a nice shock with the monsters, is clever in the use of language, and is a bit saucy as well !Bazinga !

Gridlock was one of those stories that, for me anyway, came totally out of left-field (I think that's the expression). As such, it was so completely unlike anything I was expecting that it's one of my absolute favourites. There's lots of great moments, but for today I'm going to choose the scene right at the end, where the Tennant Doctor gets to tell his tale, to Martha, of being "the last of the Timelords". I love the way it's played, the slight break in the Doctor's voice when he says, "Aw, but you should have seen that old planet..." and also (with my anorak firmly done up) I love the nods to the descriptions of Gallifrey in The Sensorites all those years before.

Daleks in Manhatten/ Evolution of the Daleks
There was something kind of cool about the Daleks flying round Hooverville exterminating everyone.

The Lazarus Experiment
The confrontation between Lazarus and the Doctor on the roof - a real old fashioned DW Hero vs Villain conversation, and Mark Gatiss is clearly having the time of his life.Bazinga !

My favourite (and one of the most quoted New Who moments in our house) is Lazarus coming out of the machine and saying "My Name is Richard Lazarus. I am 76 years old and I am REBORN!"
I love that bit!

Where to begin with Human Nature? Apart from wrenching Paul McGann into the New Series canon!
No, let's be nice and go for a Freema moment. I love the bit where she finds out the 'Sister-Of-Mine' alien by coming up with all the horrible combinations of food. Very simple, but very sinister.Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Utopia
It's got to be the moment where Yana open the watch and becomes the Master again. The way Derek Jacobi's eyes narrow and he suddenly changes from the benign jolly professor into something infinitely more evil is astonishingly powerful. One of the series' all time greatest moments.
