The Weeping Angels aren't happy with you, Si...
For every fail, there is an equal and opposite win.
...Oh, who am I kidding?

I thought we were going to have 'Family of Blood' first?
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Oh is that where Blink goes? I haven't watched it since first broadcast so I just forgot.
And Steve it's story by story, not by episode I think.
Si xx

To fill the gap, my Magic Moment in Blink (I know Si thinks that's a contradiction in terms, but anyway...) is when Sally is 'speaking' to the Doctor in the house, with the aid of the transcript. Lots of great dialogue here, but my favourite is where Nightingale is still not getting it. Sally asks how the Doctor can possibly know what she's saying, to which he replies that he has a transcript. "Look to your left" he explains, and Larry gleefully says "What does he mean by look to your left?"
Si's done Utopia - although it's open for debate, I'd say the next story is The Sound of Drums & The Last of the Timelords. Any magic there for anyone?

At the risk of being burned as a heretic, I like the idea of the One Year Later. Although I'n still not sure about the result showing him in a overtly messianic light right at the end, I feel it's good that the Doctor's willing to play a long game if he needs to.

Voyage Of The Damned:
Kylie Minogue.
In a maid's outfit.
Driving a fork-lift.
Into a chasm.
Sheer genius!

Partners in Crime
There are many great moments in this episode- none more so than the whole "Charades" section through the windows, which is perfectly played and a great, fun way for the Doctor and Donna to meet again. It's really funny too!

The Fires of Pompeii
It's got to be the scene when the Doctor is ready to leave everbody behind, but Donna, imperfect, emotional, human Donna convinces him that the Laws of Time can sometimes just go and stuff themselves. It could almost be the 7th Doctor and Ace.For every fail, there is an equal and opposite win.
...Oh, who am I kidding?

Brilliant choices for both those episodes - especially the Partners in Crime scene, which is just genius!!

Planet of the Ood
Donna, the temp from Chiswick, shows us that it's not only the Doctor who can comprehend the weird and wonderful things he sees on other planets, as it is her who gets the blistering tirade pointing out that the Ood submitted to the human presence not because they are inherently weak and eager to serve, as the humans believe, but because they are born holding part of their brain in their hands and therefore simply cannot afford to risk violent confrontation.

The Sontaran Stratgem/The Poison Sky
I'm torn between my two favourite moments in this story. There's the very amusing scene where the Doctor gives a great speech about how wonderful Donna has been and realises part way through that when she said she was going home she just meant she was going to visit and was coming back, and the 'oh yes!' moment when General Mace gives his speech and the Valiant appears from out of the gas, blasting the Sontarans and showing them (and the Doctor) what a bunch of ticked off humans can actually do.

The Doctor's Daughter
I liked the way Donna worked out what all the serial numbers were about. She's very clever- it took me ages to get my head around Dewey!

Come on people, we can finish this by Christmas if we just try!!
I'd love to be, but am oddly not that fond of The Unicorn and the Wasp - BUT I do love the 'Doctor's cure for poison' kitchen scene, particularly Catherine Tate!

Silence In The Library/Forest Of The Dead
Donna turned into a node was downright weird.

What I loved about Midnight was the captions with alien time measurements and then at the end, after the day has been "saved" the awkward tension between the Doctor and the other passengers was represented by a caption of a human time measurement.

Turn Left
It has to be Bernard Cribbins' performance as he tearfully remembers 'that's what they said last time' as all non-British people are rounded up for segregation and deportation.

The Stolen Earth/Journey's End
My magic moment is the happiness on Donna's face when the Doctor and Rose see each other. See, I was as 'meh' about it as many were, but Donna's expression made that scene for me: the reaction of a true best friend.
Oooh, coconut macaroons!

The Next Doctor
I haven't seen this since it was on, but I remember really liking the reveal of Jackson Lake's TARDIS.

Planet of the Dead
The mention of Robot. No, just kidding, any scene with Michelle Ryan in.For every fail, there is an equal and opposite win.

And Lee Evans. But Michelle does register highly on the bernardometer.

The Waters of Mars
The cutting between the long shot and close up of the possessed woman crewmember. In the close ups, she's fine; in the long shot, you can see something's wrong with her...
It's also the only story that my other half has enjoyed.
Oooh, coconut macaroons!

The End of Time, part 1...
...well, it's got to be the closing scene. Just the general epic-ness of Timothy Dalton.

And for part 2... It has to be the frustrated rage & fury as the Doctor rails at Wilf, when he realises that this is it, this is his end. Very, very powerful.

The Eleventh Hour
For me it's the wonderfully atmospheric pan through young Amelia's garden leading up to her praying to Santa. It's a lovely, childlike scene perfectly made with the hint of menace from the crack in the wall.
