But the question is, will it be in a boxset, or will 2|entertain pull the stupidest stunt ever and make it a standalone release?

Also, will Mark Strickson be on the commentary?

It wouldn't be THAT stupid if it was a standalone story - the three stories were aired perfectly seperately, it's only fans in hindsight that have termed it a trilogy. And they came out individually on VHS.

The only ones who benefit from box sets really are 2-entertain, who then get to release three stories in one go and take more money from each individual purchase (the age-old retail trick of 'three for the price of two'), so it'd only be stupid for them if it came out on its own really.

My dislike of boxsets is that it takes a lot longer for them to reach a reasonable price.

I put mine in a drawer too!

Actually, all my DW DVDs are in a drawer, but the box-set slip covers are in a different part of the drawer to the DVD cases...

I put my DVD's in order on the shelf & use the cardboard slip cases to keep one of the stories that is associated with the slip case stays & the next stories in order fill the slip case spaces if necessary.

My slipcases are in the wardrobe. The dvd's are on the shelf, but not in order. When I moved in I just put them up in Doctor order.

Chronological order for us, with the slipcases used- with stories put in that don't belong in the box where the sets aren't chronological to keep the flow! It's the only way!

We do have some of the boxes reversed, so that you can see the slipcase sleeves. It helps to stop the DVDs from sliding over when you take a couple out.

Actually they're in chronological order but Season 22 is upstairs at the moment.

same with me starting with William Hartnell on the top shelf of my book case working it's way down as for the boxes I bin those .

despite these extras being cleared I personaly would be suprised to see it released this year and think it's more likely for a January 2010 release.
