For all it's fascinating insight, photographs and doodles, RTD's book isn't what it could have been. It's too narrow in focus to be a really classic reference book.

So The Target Book wins it for me!
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

I've gone for the A to Z. Always useful when you want to know where your going or in this case where you've been.

I've only got the middle two and haven't properly read A-Z yet so it's a Useless vote from me!

I voted for The Writer's Tale, which was an excellent book.

Agreed - even though there was so much of it, and even though there was what would on the face of it appear to be a lot of dry script extracts in there, I found it almost unputdownable. So frankly I'd give it my vote simply for it's unputdownableness (or would if that was a word)!

Damn! I only just noticed these now that the final is up. I would definitely have voted for one of the two losing books here.

If this semi had gone up a week later than it did, I would have voted for The Target Book!
