Read the beginning and the very last scene so far.
I'm not too happy with my first scene though

This script.. it's born... of ... ANGER!... Born... of... EVIL!

It makes me strangely warm to think of Martin on his train listening to the last production.

Listening to BF's last production keeps Jason Haigh-Ellery, Nicholas Briggs and Gary Russell actually warm.

Hmm - they're all well-off enough from other projects not to worry about BF profits to keep them warm, aren't they? Damn, it'd have been a great joke otherwise

It's good to know things are starting to take shape. I might have another listen to Protii again to get that PS audio feel again.

It's a fun script! There's a lot more tension and action for our heroes than in Echoes of The Protii. It should be a blast

I think generally you get better at something the more you do it (except if you're Michael Jackson). This one was second written, second plotted and will be second to be audio dramatised - so hopefully it will be better in every respect. Si and I had never written anything properly, I don't think, when we wrote "Echoes" so there are lots of things that would obviously be done better now.

I like to think that Soap is a better story overall than Protii. I'm still enomously fond of Protii, but Soap really is an archetypal Doctor Who story in many ways and is all the better for it!

    Hurrah!

You'll all also be pleased to know that there are plenty of surprises planned for this play, even for those that have read the script...!

I hope you've torn out all the pages where you haven't got any lines, Paul. I want to see you at the recording waving the script around and saying "A bit thin this year, Si!"

I daren't do that in case he bulks it out with more hats!

From a first look it seems like I have a bit more action this time round and lots of stuff to stretch my acting range which is a bit scary. Still I've been secretly picking up tips from watching Sylvester McCoy so I should be ok

I love the Tardis scenes as well. Its such a same that I don't have a console to run around flicking switches on.

Well maybe we could put out a table for you to run around and you can pretend it's the TARDIS console Paul!

Si was laughing a while back because he noticed that I always insert TARDIS scenes into the scripts. I did it in both this and Protii because I like them!

I thought, as I'm starting off this one, we definately won't have any TARDIS scenes. So the ("General Grugger") goes and sticks a load in Part 4 instead!

It wouldn't be a proper Who audio without you giving us some wheezing and groaning Si!
