As far as I can tell, that kind of discussion is all that ever happens in Friends. Or someone will say 'I am NEVER going to do that!' and then they cut to a scene where they are doing that.

with the BBC press release about a possibal 2nd series of Survivors, dose this now rule Paterson Joseph, out of the running for the 11th Doctor - with series 5 filming due to start in june/july 09 and lasting nearly 9 months it would make it very difficult for him to do both series.

He could always have a very swift exit between series, if he changed his mind. But I agree, it does seem more unlikely... unless he dies (in the series) tonight!

Roobarbs says Chiwetel Ejiofor is attracting a lot of smark money. That would be ground breaking and modern - our first ever copy-and-paste Doctor.
Dennis, Francois, Melba and Smasher are competing to see who can wine and dine Lola Whitecastle and win the contract to write her memoirs. Can Dennis learn how to be charming? Can Francois concentrate on anything else when food is on the table? Will Smasher keep his temper under control?
If only the 28th century didn't keep popping up to get in Dennis's way...

Good grief, is Wayne doing the casting then? Name your sources! You can't just state something so important so categorically without telling us how you know!

well I reckon the next Doctor, should be Robert Peston, the business/economy bloke from BBC news... after all he's a well known person to the viewing public and has been on telly more times in the last year then John Barrowman.
