Play are listing "Dr Wgi: Lost TV Episodes Collection 1 (1964-1965)" for release in August. I think it's a code.
Dennis, Francois, Melba and Smasher are competing to see who can wine and dine Lola Whitecastle and win the contract to write her memoirs. Can Dennis learn how to be charming? Can Francois concentrate on anything else when food is on the table? Will Smasher keep his temper under control?

If only the 28th century didn't keep popping up to get in Dennis's way...

That's a rather good crop! Seems like we haven't had any of these for ages.

Here's some intersting news. Stones of Blood is coming out as an audio book next year (after The Ribos Operation) and here's the blurb from Amazon:

This is a brand new audio novelisation of a classic Doctor Who TV adventure, which starred Tom Baker as the Doctor. From the pen of the original script writer David Fisher, "The Stones of Blood" is set in 20th Century Dorset, where the ancient Cailleach has exerted her powers throughout the ages. The Doctor, Romana and K9 team up with Professor Amelia Rumford and her friend Vivian Fay in their search for a powerful artefact...

Huh? So Terrance Dicks' version wasn't good enough?

I wonder if David Fisher has done it himself. He's mentioned in interviews that he wasn't aware at the time that Terrance Dicks was signed to do them and if he'd realised earlier he'd have written Stones and Androids himself too, as he did with Creature and The Leisure Hive.

It'd be great if he is, as both Creature and Leisure Hive are rather good novelisations.

If he likes doing them that much, someone set him working on "The Pirate Planet", "Shada" and "Ressurection of the Daleks"!

And "City of Death" and "Revelation of the Daleks". Is Fisher also novelising "The Androids of Tara" as well. Perhaps they could get Mary Tamm to read Stones and Tara. (Maybe they'll bring out the (5) Key to Time novelisations as audiobooks next year like they did with The Daleks' Master Plan this year then afterwards they could do The Trial of a Time Lord.)

The Retro re-issue of Genesis is oddly tempting. Shame there's not any other stories like this they can release unless they do The Pescatons and that TV 21 vinyl from The Chase but who knows what the rights issues are there as they weren't BBC Records.

I'm really looking forward to this one. The combination of a new adaptation of the story, Susan Engel and John Leeson makes this a must buy for me. (though in general most of the Targets are going that way- I find them very enjoyable to listen to)
