It might be Zel playing silly wotsits - or Andrew thinks he's in the "Lies to Tell New Fans" thread!

Not in Doctor Who itself, but I never knew Talons was first released in Australia in April 1987, before the UK, with a different cover:
Same goes for The Ark In Space:
Terror of the Zygons:
and The Time Warrior:
Are these quite rare then?

I knew about all of those except the Ark in Space one, which I've never seen before! And is very dodgy looking.

I bought that Talons video circa May/June 1987 via DWB who were offering it for 40. Given that it was slightly edited (notably the fight with the Chinese thugs in the first episode) and with no cliffhangers intact, and it was on Betamax (our VCR back then) and that 40 then is probably worth at least 100 now, that shows you how much I love(d) the story!
ISTR that DWB may have offered the Zygons video too, but I passed on that. I went on to repurchase the Talons video on VHS, then again I think when it was released undedited on video? And of course the DVD for full whack from 10th Planet 4 years ago when I didn't know about the benefits of online shopping! All part of the joys of being a fan!

Who credits Marter and Courtney on video covers?!
Incidentally, has anyone ever noticed the fluffed line in "Robots of Death" between D84 and the Doctor? No-one ever mentions it. The following exchange, as heard on-screen, actually makes no sense:
"If I were to tell you, that the world would end tomorrow, would you believe me?"
"If I knew you had the power to, I'd listen."
Power to what? The thought occurs that the D84 line should have been "If I were to tell you, that I could destroy the world tomorrow, would you believe me?" only they messed it up in the dubbing.

No one but me (as far as I know) has ever mentioned that the Sirius 4 police logo (or whatever it is) in "Frontier in Space" looks a bit like a Dalek's dome, eye stalk and neck grill viewed front on.
It's true! Chance or design?
Stick or twist....the choice is yours....

The recent release of The Invasion may at last confirm my longstanding claim that the Doctors recorder is also a telescope when the mouthpiece is removed. He also uses it in The War Games.

Except it doesn't really. Does it.
"If I were to tell you that the world would end tomorrow..."
"If I knew you had the power to, I'd listen."

The power to tell him the future.
Perfect sense.

It doesn't mention telling the future in the line though does it? Glad I wasn't your English Language teacher at school Nathan!

Yes it does.
The Doctor says ""If I were to tell you that the world would end tomorrow..."
and D84 responds "If I knew you had the power to, I'd listen."
Which means quite clearly "If I knew you had the power to (tell me)"
There isn't anything wrong with that.

Personally I've always taken it to mean "If you had the power to destroy the world" but it may well be an error. I have to say, I don't think your explanation really works Nathan, since, as Si says, there's no reference to telling the future there at all!
On the plus side, yes I think "The Invasion" clearly shows the recorder being used, rather nattily, in telescope mode!

When Turlough dumps Peri on the bed in "Planet of Fire" you can see a hint of labia majora peeking out from her bikini bottoms as if to say "hello"
