The Dominators on DVD - Out Now!
The DVD trailer was leaked to YouTube yesterday, so I guess it'll be coming out sometime next year!
For every fail, there is an equal and opposite win.
...Oh, who am I kidding?

Does this mean Si Hunt will finally watch The Dominators again? Or will it be the end of the world? Find out when The Dominators is released on DVD!

I rather like this story! It's no classic, by any means, but it's fun in the same way that Time and the Rani is fun.
So I for one am looking forward to it!

It ain't that bad. It's better than The Krotons, for a start.

Can Dennis learn how to be charming? Can Francois concentrate on anything else when food is on the table? Will Smasher keep his temper under control?
If only the 28th century didn't keep popping up to get in Dennis's way...

While the film sequences are nice, I'm more interested in the fact that The Dominators is the last Doctor Who story to get an unedited release
Yes, there might be more stories with edited out material (a la Keys of Marinus), but this is the only one where there is known censored footage...Your people? Your people??? They are MY people now!

Just watched the trailer and it's the first ever Pat Troughton story (or even indeed DW story) where I've found myself being bored within a matter of seconds...
As for the Dalek War boxset, bloody hell... it's it funny how, when you see footage of an episode you haven't seen for at least 3 - 4 years, you're filled with nostalgia and good feelings of being wrapped into a blanked around christmas time at 6am in the morning absoloutley loving your favourite programme?Tom Simpson

Great to see another Troughton out so soon, and a decent trailer - the cleaned up sound from the 35mm episode was pretty good even on YouTube!

What was "Tomorrow's Times" again? Was it an ongoing series of featurettes?

I wondered that too, I'd forgotten!
Just remembered whilst posting.....the first one was recorded by Mary Tamm for a future release. I forget which one though! Maybe this one....?“If my sons did not want wars, there would be none.” - Gutle Schnaper Rothschild

Pretty much a vanilla release for this one then? Looks like they might be cramming it all onto one disc.
Nice to see another Troughton on the way. It feels like years since the War Games!Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Possibly, although there could be more extras yet to be cleared? Although I can't see them having given this release a huge budget....

The 'Tomorrow's Times' features are a series looking at how Doctor Who was represented in the media at the time. IIRC due to a promo clip of Mary Tamm reading a news report it was assumed she was presenting these, however Steve Roberts suggests otherwise...
